Our Story

Forward Assist Project was born out of frustration with empty gestures and performative outrage. When tragedy hits, (whether at home or abroad), too many people stop at a hashtag, a filtered profile picture, or a quick “thoughts and prayers” post before moving on with their day. This brand exists for the people who want to do more than that. Those who are ready to become the kind of person others can actually depend on when things go bad.

Founded by a Marine Corps veteran and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt with over 16 years on the mats and behind the gun: Forward Assist Project is built on training, responsibility, and action. The name reflects a mindset: drive forward, fix failures, and keep the mission moving—on the range, on the mats, and in life. Our gear is designed for grapplers and shooters of all kinds and professions who believe that capability, not clout, is what matters.

This brand is a call-out and a call-to-arms at the same time. We push people to get real-world skills: basic emergency medical training like applying tourniquets, packing wounds, and improvising splints; stepping onto the mats to test themselves in combat sports; and learning to handle firearms safely, responsibly, and effectively. Forward Assist Project is for those who want to protect themselves, their families, and their communities- not just talk about it online.

Forward Assist Project also stands for something beyond the individual. A portion of profits goes to vetted organizations that fight human trafficking, combat cyber crimes against children, and mentor at-risk youth toward stronger futures. When you wear this brand, you are not just repping a logo- you are aligning with a community that believes in stepping up, not checking out.
